Iris is a Hong Kong and Australia qualified corporate lawyer with over 25 years of experience across private practice and senior in-house roles. Iris focuses her practice on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, asset management and regulatory compliance.

Iris began her private practice career at reputable international and local law firms where she gained substantial experience in takeover transactions and initial public offerings. She also advised listed companies on ongoing compliance with the HK Listing Rules, the Securities and Futures Ordinance and the Takeovers Code. In addition, Iris has experience advising clients on establishing joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, company secretarial matters and other general commercial legal matters. 

Thereafter, Iris moved in-house serving as a Managing Director and Senior Legal Counsel of an international asset management company and as Head of Regulatory Compliance of the Hong Kong private banking division of a global financial institution. In these capacities, she gained extensive experience in asset management and regulatory compliance. 

Iris holds an LL.M. from the University of Hong Kong, an LL.B. and a B.Com (major in Accounting) from the University of New South Wales.

· Takeover Transaction: Advised Haitong Securities Co. Ltd. on its acquisition of Taifook Securities Group Limited, which triggered mandatory general offers under the Hong Kong Takeovers Code. Iris acted for the purchaser in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing transaction documents.

· Initial Public Offering: Acted for the sponsor and underwriters on the Main Board listing of Boer Power Holdings Limited on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Iris advised on overall structure, negotiated transaction documents, and ensured compliance with listing rules.

· Initial Public Offering: Advised Great Harvest Maeta Group Holdings Limited on its Main Board listing. Iris conducted due diligence, advised on suitability for listing, structured pre-IPO reorganization, and prepared listing documents.
